Most folks would guess that my favorite art style is Renaissance but they’re wrong: I am a much bigger fan of the Baroque and Neo-Classical schools. Every now and again, I like to steal a page from the old masters and take a swing at a master study. Here I have done a work after the style of Gainsborough.
Wonderful as always! I loved the sketch (too) in this case, maybe even more than the finished piece.
Yes it is quite common here that the rough sketch enjoys more popularity than the finished work…
That is true, but they don’t always play nice together…

You are welcome. I’m trying to round out my content a bit…
Oooh, she’s gorgeous. I love this one, it’s one of my favorites and Mrs. Huntington agrees…
Mrs. Huntington didn’t even like her husband, but she loved his art collection
Hey.. This cute girl reappears with you. She’s getting stunning!
Did I post an earlier version of her? I must be getting senile in my old age…
Your average test result is high:
– Fantasy/imagination – high
– Creativity – high
– Power to forget/move on: high.
Power to remember what I’ve already done – low
You are like a swordsman, full of courage; dare to tranform the third test result – positive to the fourth – negative. But it does not matter, we both know that + and – are twins.
Must be the mark of a great mind Alex, always dreaming up something new and beautiful, frequently forgetting what was previously new and beautiful…
