Ballast is unruly
rocks flow all over
dust too follows
rock is stunned
as well as ashamed
that it was shook
to cull out a brook
like ants
they burrowed holes
carrying dynamites
on their feeble backs
years of labor
and one fine day
atop that very rock
a crowd stood
with an impressive man
in their middle
speaking in tones
then a button push
and all hell broke loose
no brook no waters
just a humid fungi flowers’bed
and an ability to walk across the rock!
Mission failed water flooded elsewhere,
but a path broke right here!
