you adore him

with smiles and looks

so beatific

that many melt

while he enjoys

your wise eyes

and stately beauty

of golden locks, blue eyes, rose cheeks

and redder lips

he kisses all the while

I just yearn from afar

we are made for each other

but he has the act

and you are in it

how I pray to Lord

that you might see

the keen me and my desire

and see his as lesser due

some day I would request you

to just act seeing thus

or I will go mad!
