Falling towards the ground

uncontrolled

The point of failure within my life now

the color of my parachute is

a seamless opaque 

that cannot be seen or touched

so that

in checking 

rechecking

ensuring the safety of the jumper

but

clear

opaque

it is not seen

nor felt

trusting 

we kjnow it is there

until falling

we realize there are no magic

parachutes that

opaque cannot be seen

or touched.

Falling we remember that

but now

is too late.
