Somebody left his body
and I was nobody
with a keen desire
to hold hands
and then give him
a careful manicured hug
I almost died trying to do that
yet failed as stymieing were odds
but then equations of times
alter with deeds
and outcomes
I had hardened inside
and never saw
the tears
that crept in on quiet
and flowed in silence
that sad night
expecting that humidity
would be just akin a small rained ground
it grew irate and fell in volumes great
emotions and visions of past
also turned and tossed
one could hear their cries
my parent was gone forever
and I sobbed!
You can laugh heartily here by reading these books.
