Here is my art “studio”, located in my garage. It is a large old desk that my boyfriend let me use for painting.
As you can see, it is a mess. This is the way I like to work. It is the one space in my home where I can have a little bit of controlled chaos, and my partner doesn’t complain.
I would like to move it to the spare bedroom, but he says, “No WaY!”
But it works for me and I am satisfied for now. If I needed more room, I would probably just reorganize the space in the garage.
One thing I really need though is shelving for my art supplies. Right now everything not on the desk is in boxes on the floor.
