This is the last of 16 murals painted by talented, gifted local artists or painters in our small City of La Carlota.
This artist focused his painting on Mt. Kanlaon. It is of course very obvious for it is clearly labelled. What a coincidence! The mural seems to be natural for there is a growing plant right in front of it. I don’t know what is the name of that plant.
Mt. Kanlaon, for your information, “is an active stratovolcano on the island of Negros, Philippines.” It has an elevation of 2,465 m (8,087 ft) above sea level” as the highest volcano in Negros or even in the whole Visayas. (Canlaon, Wikipedia)
