Taut
sought
from day
it began to grow
green
bitter
it swelled
and swelled
skin softening
flesh forming
colors changing
hues
on the sly
as branch and twig
weighed down
lucky
to survive
it was yellow
reddish
even pinkish
and now full shape
they plucked
sliced
and served
delicious
juicy
sweet
and tongue
freshening
they all said more
but
the mango said no more
end of life!

Very nicely done with the poem. Mango does look ripe.
I have only eaten mango one time!
