As mentioned in a previous post I love to digitally alter some of my photographs. I love the variety of changes I can make and am particularly interested in digital effects that almost make the original photo into abstract art.
This photo is of a sculpture from the Sculpture Gardens in New Jersey. The picture was good, but I feel that by applying a digital filter the photo becomes far more intriguing. It’s abstract in a way and invites the viewer to make up their own mind about what they are seeing.
For me it looks alienesque – perhaps a landscape from another planet – it’s this sort of effect that I am aiming for.
