Like a Flash of Light ~ Poem

This is a poem I wrote for my book, Shades of Midnight.   

I have enjoyed sharing my poetry in the past, so I thought I would share some more with you all.  Hope you enjoy!

Like a Flash of Light 

There you were,

Just like a flash of light,

You’re everything I’ve ever needed

Your love saved me that night

Out of nowhere,

You appeared,

Like a sweet dream,

Only it was completely real

Here we stand down the road,

Our love still burning strong

I know it always will,

and forever we will sing our love song

There you were,

 like a flash of light

your love saved my life
