Inside of the circle
where there is another circle
and then perhaps even more circles
the light
shines.
As if each circle
capture a beam of light
and sharing that beam with us
pushing it off center.
The light streaming
no asking asking the light
how does that make you feel?
As it streams past circles
that grabbing the light
slow down the moment.
light now the reflection
a refraction
a refactoring
of the light that once free
now captured
bounces within the circles
trapped forever
never again free.
You are a man of many talents. Enjoyed this!
Thanks, Carol. Writing poems has long been a deep dark secret.
Glad to see your secret has been outed!
The Templars were controversial subject — no one will ever know the secret about the Holy Grail for they served as true, loyal guardians hence, trapped forever is aptly used here ?. Nice poem as always Doc!
Thanks – as you are a great poet, your compliment means a lot to me!
Hahahahaha I am not even sure if I am a poet — I just say I write. I love your poems, however, as it touches different subject and some are not common ones like this Templar poem.
I guess I am the poet of obscruity 🙂
Well that is a nice title to have hahaha
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story and art work.
Thanks! Poetry is one of my personal passions!
