Labor of Love Watercolor

My father passed away when he was only 60.  Too soon.  When my little girls were small he created a couple of rocking horses for them one Christmas.  He even painted them like the horses I grew up with.  He wasn’t a carpenter mind you, but he dabbled with woodworking and I shall always cherish the vision of him working away on a gift for my girls.  I shall always miss him.

I created the hairs by using a masking fluid first and then painting over it.  This is just watercolor on paper.
