HOME…
Too long on the road
Been gone much too long
On this journey called life
I climbed higher than I thought
Crawled lower than I ought to..
Ventured far
But not far enough
The thrills were wills
that filled memoirs with no regret…
Been rushed thru battles
like a lion-hearted steed
I tasted victory for the season
Reason or no reason
Within a time down to ground
I’ve been knocked by blows
that made my prided heart to bleed…
I’ve searched for mysteries
outside of myself
Stumbled upon figments from dreams
thru someone else’s eyes
Only to find reflections
of my own mirrored soul…
Too long on the road
Been gone much too long
Then when my wings
had jump started to sprout
I realized how long
I’d been cheating on me…
Now I’m sailing down a stream
Heading back on home,
Home right back to me…

Thank you brother, we still have a journey to go!!!
Of course, a never-ending journey, right?
When our work is done in this dimension, who knows what the next one has in store…
Uuuu… I’m so happy every time someone talks about dimensions and stores, Bradley!
How often we rob ourselves without knowing why
We need to be kinder to ourselves. We need to give more to ourselves. The more we have the more we can give…
An excellent, very reflective poem Bradley !
Thank you Paul. I always appreciate comment.

No matter what life throws our way, we have to believe things will get
better eventually. It is all about our attitude.
