Hay Harvest Watercolor

Hay Harvest Watercolor

I’ve always living in the country where things are growing year round.  I’ve seen harvesters and all kinds of machinery.  We even had horses at our place.  It only seems natural that I would draw and paint them as often as possible.  I think the big problem with this painting though is the perspective.  The horses are closer to the viewer so they should be much larger than the men and the men being further back should be smaller.  I spent lots of time on the hay trying to make it just right.  Too bad I didn’t spend more time working out the perspective first.
