Fear is missing

from my being

I fear nothing

in this globe

but wait

I fear just a thing

mortally and way too much

I cannot countenance

my guilt

ever in a mortgage

of shame and

pointing a finger

at me

revoking the honesty

license

which it affords my conscience

if it is guilt free

whenever I am weighed thus

I cannot sleep at nights

eat my meals right

I remain restive

irritated

and

bad mannered

and the peace

arrives

only when I

rush the guilt out

and thus the fear

as well!
