It was a hot summer day. All the members of our church turned out to the new property of our soon-to-be-built church to break ground. The children were there in numbers. Many of the young ones were digging and breaking ground of their own. It seems a festive atmosphere, if a little toasty under the summer sun. This boy was standing near grandparents and I captured him as he watched other boys digging in the dirt. The fun part was finding “things” to put into this collage. You may see a tomato, heart and orangutan in his shirt. In his hat are grapes and even an alligator. I was amazed at how well some animals hid themselves in the colors on this page. It has become a “Where’s Waldo” type image for me.
