Gold Greek Headband at the Museum of Fine Arts

In the Ancient Greek Art section of the Museum of Fine Arts in St Pete, Florida they had this display of a gold Diadem (Headband) with Centaurs, Warriors, Boxers and a Horseman.  This piece of Greek Art was from 725-700 BC. It was a headband found deposited in a cremation burial. There are two centaurs battling with human adversaries reflecting the “song culture” of early Greece. The gold headband was hammered out thinly on a bronze metal relief.
