I have made this painting for long enough. Indeed I have painted it as an illustration of my writing or poetry idea, as always, and as in general my paintings and writings are always about the musings of life.
When I will post this painting with my writing, it suddenly crossed my mind to try to ask for an interpretation from you, my friends, rather than just being a friend and source of ideas from my own writing.
The simple reason for my request is that it is not the abstract painting I used to make. So, again, for this time I intend to involve you to share a living reflection of your interpretation of this painting, and not about this simple painting. I am sure I will get many lessons from you all. For your willingness to participate and share, I thank you.
Illustration by Albert Herdie – Digital painting from part of The Essence Series – Drowning in The Sea.
You are right about the static impression, and that is exactly my idea to describe the silence of resignation and dying.
Lovely colours and philosophic point of view
Your appreciation and praise always encourage me, Pamela. Thank you very much
Marvellous poetic-philosophical post with a super picture!
Wow! What a great compliment, Anastasia. Thanks a lot, my dear friend
Wow, you have a lot of great input here, I will have to think about it. Great illustration.
It was just below the minimum of all the reflections that have been entered here, so I am still waiting for at least one from you. Hahaha… Joking… joking… Thank you, Carol
Go deep, go with the flow, and shine your light into the darkness! What a lovely creation, Albert <3
Fantastic, Windy. go with the flow means we let go of control and let the current take us… to go deep, that’s the only way, is not it?
Yes, it is, my friend. And, allowing the Universe to guide us, is the only right way to flow the way we were intended to… When we flow, we are carried to our purpose 😉
All right, Windy. Thank you very much for your reflection here.
Wonderful work, thank you for sharing 🙂
Wonderful is great wisdom that is very deep. Thank you, Courtney.
Return to the original point of life.
Uuu… That’s deep, my friend…
Well done!!! Nice post!!!
Again and again, I should thank you, Georgi.
In the deep blue sea
He is drowning
Lost but trying
Aiming
For the light
That trickles
Through
For he knows
That light
Will lead him
Out of the darkness
Into The Bright ?
….is that enough wisdom? ?
Wisdom? Of course! Even if you just write a few words, for everything holds wisdom. And your interpretation is so deep, I will not be able to find the bottom just with ordinary dive equipment! Thank you very much, my friend
Lol! If you do not know them enough, Gemini peeps could easily pull anyone’s leg. Those are my first thoughts anyway when I saw the painting and before I read you asking for wisdom ?. The streak of light penetrating the water reminded me of a Rumi quote and Adi Da’s reference to reality as “The Bright”
Actually, with whom do you speak? Are you inciting my friends to keep their feet? lest I can not pull them down to the bottom of the sea? Hahahahaaa…
Anyway, I just ask you to give me a drop of water because I’m so thirsty… Whether it’s water from Rumi, Adi Da, or your own water…
Do not forget, as evils as of Gemini though, ?they are always full of compassion… that’s according to akhasic record…
Oh but I will not go as far as labeling anyone as evil — my opinion of others reflects how I see my own self. Besides Shams said not to look for the devil outside as it is someone within ?. And what does the book of Akash say about Leos? ???
It is not you who say that I am evil but myself. Akashic records say that all Leo will be born in late July and August. The rest, you have to read it yourself.
Wonderful information you shared there uhm it is the first time I heard that I swear ???
I am happy if the information I provide can be useful for you
