Friday in Black and White – Through the keyhole

I have taken this photo  from inside the Chindia Tower through a keyhole-shaped opening. The opening is oriented towards the main entrance of the Royal Court Museum Complex from my town. What role did this keyhole-shaped opening had, I do not know!  The tower was built during Vlad the Impaler’s reign many years ago! Maybe there was an entry surveillance point. Who knows?

I took the picture because I thought it looked interesting in the B & W.

My previous B&W – Above the mountains.

  1. Talk about the city of Târgovişte, Romania, built in the 15th century

Black and white photography is always good, I would like to note that even the interior of the city has a greater degree of sharpness,

    • Thank you, Carol! I do not know if it is the best picture, but it is interesting because, on the one hand, it shows the past (see the walls inside, showing the passage of time) and the other side, the exterior seen through this opening brings us nowadays. I thought the picture was a connection between past and present!
