I drew my dog – Lucy [with progress pictures]

“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace.” ― Milan Kundera

Hello ! 🙂

This was my first ever colored drawing on A3 art paper and I was so proud of this one! 🙂

Hope you like it too!

I used : A3 – smooth art paper, Polycolor pencils, white gel pen.

If I remember right, I needed more than one week to complete the drawing. 🙂

…I don’t ever wanna loose her…

  1. Lucy looks so cute in your art hands. I definitely support you, unfortunately, I do not use Instagram and about redbubble, after subscribing a few months ago and have not had time to learn anything I have been suspended.

  2. Gorgeous rendering of a sweet looking dog. I wish I still had my Tasha. She was a great dog too. Yours is very sweet and gentle looking while my Tasha was a real Husky mix German Shepherd looking. You can see a picture of her on my introduction post. Anyway, thank you for posting and showing off your talent and your pooch.

      • You’re very welcome. You even gave me the incentive to go back to drawing (which I used to do very long ago) and try to draw my dog from memory and pictures. But I cannot promise that I ever will considering that I am still very busy. Lucy is certainly a very pretty little gal and looks like such a sweetheart.
