I watch dew drops
on leaf
of morning fresh
they look like pearls
but soon shrivel
with sun’s heat
and then leave
a small white patch
on leaf
as a smear
as if a tear
on human eye
having dried
of excess grief
what have you in life
a morning
churned by later heat
we live to see many days
lower animals
have lives of days and hour
and spend their lifetimes
in grief
who could ever belief
that a dew drop
may have contributions
from the eyes of a grasshopper
who wept for
reasons of life
but soon died!
