of me in my life
a tender
that I had worked for
all my life
spent so many hours
trudged
100s of streets
and met so many officials
who had me on beg
then I did plead
my shoes
were gone soles
all chipped
and sandals
making me limp
now jump
the scene
see the outcome
I was outbid
by someone
who bribed
a percentage
and got it all
3 years later
they called
me that bribe was caught
as next bidder
you come back
with not a penny left
I said no
and sat by my begging seat
inside the tube!
