When you see items with an artistic eye, you see objects as they can be, not necessarily as they are. A plumber might see a piece of a pipe as an instrument for the job, a janitor might see it as a piece of debris, while an artist might see it as a limb to a robot lamp. The purpose of a pipe depends upon the eye of the beholder.
Ordinary pipes crafted together to become robot lamps. Art is in the eye of the beholder.
These are awesome and creative! Also, very true words!
Turning everything into a purposeful second usage is done by someone who is resourceful and creative. I like this robot pipe light holder.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting. I am so proud of his creativity.
That is true. His creativity is astounding.
I wish I could be more creative, a simple idea makes such a statement!
Being creative is good therapy! Keep on writing Carol it is enjoyed.
My artist friends call what’s in your photo mixed media with found objects. But it takes imagination to see that. I think I’ll post some I’ve seen recently.
Good name for it, I’m amazed what my husband can create with these plumber pipes. Thanks for commenting.

Did you write on Associated Content, or NiumeI I did!
Hi, yes I was an AC writer, I will have to follow you now on Virily!
The series Family Ties had a man on it that use to make his artwork out of junk. One time on there he was in an art show and it done well in it. Yes beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I think I remember that episode, when someone has an artistic mind they can just about create anything. What a plus when they can make an income from it.
