I had an idea of putting paintings on to fabric.
Began with fabric paints a long time ago and the French Art Shop used to sell fabric paints. One day they stopped selling them and told me to use acrylic paint and add fixative to the acrylic paints, Then wait for it to dry.
Then put a clean T towel and iron it to set the colours in. Then I just wash the clothing as normal and have no trouble with it.

To be honest with you Alibb, I am a beginner when painting or drawing the sea.
I don’t know much about it at all, but I use pictures of water.
In future I will be using my own photos on water.

A stunning painting of a Viking ship along with crew. One question: what kind of fabric do you use?
Thanks HistoryGal, I don’t use an expensive fabric, just like calico but I also use T Shirt material. I use just about any plain fabric material. Except Silk
Painting and stitching is not my line. You are good at it.
I am no expert at sewing although I tried to make a dress out of calico before I painted it.
Then I did not realise the fabric shrinks when you paint it!
