Of all the things Moorcock wrote, my favorite is probably the introduction to the Corum books. Don’t get me wrong, I am and always will be an Elric man but that bit at the beginning always stirs my imagination, makes me excited to read more…

In those days there were oceans of light and cities in the skies and wild flying beasts of bronze. There were herds of crimson cattle that roared and were taller than castles. There were shrill veridian things that haunted bleak rivers. Love the watercolor the best.

He just keeps getting more distinct and therefore more scary…
You want the demon should be passive?
You might have that expectations for variants on a finished piece, but when the piece is still in progress, I would expect a wide range in emotion until the work has matured enough to be coherant

Most of my experience is in making dreams come true.
I like to get my feet wet in a lot of different puddles- it helps to have a basis for comparison and a lot of experience
