Close Encounter (three different kinds)

Just some alien designs because why not? The title is a play off a really long and boring film about aliens and also the Chinese food menus that say seafood noodles (three different kinds)

Anyway, the truth is out there…

Right now this is what I consider the optimal design scheme. But if I were to change the background or do any number of things, then that might change...

Still, I dig my cool rimlight solution, which should save me all kinds of time in future renders

I always lean to the darker, it seems to bring out the details.

Brilliant work, but I must confess, it’s quite disturbing. We need to find a planet where the inhabitants look like Matt Bomer, lol.
