Caroling Angel Watercolor

This is another of my wrinkled paper technique angels. I thought the effect was particularly perfect for the angels because it looked like stained glass window from a church to me. In this painting I think that there are a couple things that didn’t go exactly right. One is the wings. The don’t appear attached at all. The second is the torso of the boy doesn’t look long enough for the head. You see a child gets a longer neck as they mature and if I had kept his neck a little shorter it may have worked better for this short torso. Do you think this is a total failure?
