Can You Read These 30 Artistic Texts in Upside Down Flips?

The following are words or texts, drawn artistically in different fonts: either Gothic, Arial, Courier, etc., that when flipped still can be legibly read, either same words or the antonym of that word. These words are what we called as the ambigrams.

An ambigram is a word, art form or other symbolic representation whose elements retain meaning when viewed or interpreted from a different direction, perspective, or orientation.

If you have watched the movie entitled Dan Brown‘s Angels and Demons, then you were already oriented about these ambigrams.

According to Douglas R. Hofstadter, an ambigram is a calligraphic design that manages to squeeze two different readings into the selfsame set of curves. People who loves creating ambigrams are called as ambigramists.

There are sites on the net that offers free ambigram generator like this link below:

https://flipscript.com/en/flip

Yet, there are others that are purchasable via Amazon.com

But you can also download an application if you’re using Android smart phones.

You can try to download these free apps via Playstore:

Ambigram Generator, Ambigram Studio 2.0, or Ambimatic Ambigram Generator.

The following are 30 ambigrams that I’ll feature and try to read them in different flips just for fun, and you can cast your vote.

Then, let’s see the result of the ambigrams that will get the highest votes.

Start now and enjoy!
