you behold

in watching 

a butterfly

flit

from flower

to flower

from fresh leaf

to another

with energy

fluttering wings

with energy supreme

then those happy

antlers

smeared

with nectar portions

and the crisp

butterflies

lands on your shoulders

wind blows

grass sways

flowers smile

sun shines

blue is the sky

colors riot

in the butterfly

as you cry

tears of joy

but what happens

when butterfly

tires

and is about to go dead

can anyone advise

on life and age

of a butterfly

when old

does it fly

with the same energy

retains its colors

how does it die

is it wobbly death

or simply a fold of wings

forever;I have never

seen a butterfly die

a natural death
