This is some fanciful paintings of mixed media by me. ” Brides” I used white oil pastel and water based paint. These woman are made up. One or two of them is based on Princess Grace otherwise known as Grace Kelly. Last one is completely invented by me.
One thing I will say, in venturing with art work, be yourself if you are passionate in persuing an idea in art work. Learn from everyone, but in the end if you want to stand out. Be yourself.
I think it’s useful to use different materials in art work and play with it. You never know what you can discover. Don’t buy the whole shop. Stick with what you have at first.

Grace Kelly was a real beauty. One again, it's like a fire around her.It wasn't meant to be like that, but it seems she walks through the fire, refined and unscathed.
I used this technique for other paintings. It was my third year of Art Study. I decided after that "Art" is meaningful to me, and I have a voice that doesn't want to be dictated to by a certain format.
Side Look of Bride.
I meant it to be a rainbow but did not realise it was a fiery effect. Oil pastels and crayon was used with water based paint.
Using oil pastels or crayons it repels the wet water colour paint. You can do all sorts of things using this painting technique.
You can make your own type of stained glass windows or do something different.
