I am sure that most of us are familiar, or at least heard of, the PicsArt app. It has a lot of neat “magic effects”. It also has great editing tools, but in this post I am talking about the magic effects. They remind me a lot of the Prisma app. I decided to edit the same photo with a couple of the effects from the app. I used Flora, Galaxy, Rainbow, Highlight, and Nightcore. They all are special in their own way.
For me, it’s hard to pick a favorite. I would love to hear which is your favorite effect. Feel free to upload your own edits too! Let’s have a big variety on the list.
#1 Galaxy Effect
This one is supposed to be a galaxy effect. To me I don't really see galaxy, but I still liked the outcome. It kind of just washes out the background in blue.
#2 Flora Effect
I liked how this edit turned out, looks close to the original, but more contrast of color.
#3 Rainbow Effect
This might be my favorite because of the bright colors. Rainbows are always awesome, so using a rainbow effect is always fun.
#4 Nightcore Effect
To me, this edit gives the photo a softer look. The background is kind of black and white while the main focus (in this photo a rose) is purple/pink. Definitely a nice touch.
#5 Highlight Effect
This one is called Highlight, I think because of how it makes the edges neon. It makes the photo pop. At least in my opinion it does.

For this one, on the top I put a canvas finish on it, and the black and white I just took out color tones.

In the colored one, I just enhanced the tones a bit, in the black and white I used a silver effect in PS.
#9 Petunia
When I have a photo I don't like for some reason or other, I do an art edit on it. This was was too blurry so I used an outline effect from PS.
