Noontime Snooze

Atlantic Avenue in Delray, Florida, USA, has a contrast of lifestyles. Here we see the hectic pace of traffic, coming and going somewhere and always in a hurry. Our friend found the perfect spot, in the shade of a live oak, to take a nap as the world frantically passes by.

It seems that when nature is left on its own, it combines flowers, plants and shrubs in a way that compares well to the best people can do.

I enjoy the morning time. Especially when I'm in natural settings like this. Everything seems to be refreshed and ready for the possibilities of a new day.

Sidewalk Sale

When business is slow, shops have sidewalk sales to draw in the customers. The shopkeeper can be seen on a bench with a cell phone in hand, hoping to encourage passersby to browse his shop.

“Made in the Shade” is very effective. I felt calm and cool when I looked at it. A big shift from the energies stirred up by the flowers and the busy street scenes.
