Love ItLove It

And Then Some…

AND THEN SOME…

The old cliché

That beauty is only skin deep

capitulates towards platitude,

For a poet such as I

If I may relay with gratitude

On a scale of longitude and latitude

I lay this down with a little attitude…

Senorita Bella Dama

I like your personality

You’ve got my creativity on a levity

And then some…

This kinda beauty

is what the sun likes to shine on

And what good is a diamond

if it don’t know how to be,

When you want that certain

sparkle in your eyes

Come get some…

If you hide behind the shade

Right on thru the grey

I’ll send my rays of light

to whisper sweet nothings

onto your belle of skin

And then some,

Them someting-somethings

like the wine n’ dine hon’

Cos my rhymes are d’oeuvres

of tasty treats before the melodies

begins to play,

And then some…

Our styles are different. Albert the Philosopher is more Ecclesiastical. And so far I’ve been more Boombastic with my writing as it seems to be more popular. I playing around with other themes though.

  1. Albert said it best!!! Your Poems never cease to amaze me. Awesome!! Go check out my Dare challenge. I think it is the Pixbay poem one, I dared, Carol, you and Albert to write a poem from a Pixbay picture.
