Adult Coloring Books

Everywhere I go I see them. You pay about $2.00 for a children’s coloring book. Adult Coloring Books run around $26.00. I know there is more detail, and yet the price difference seems extreme. Even the little markers that you can purchase seem expensive. However, if it is helpful in some way it may be worth checking out. So I went and did a little research.

Most experts agree that coloring is not art therapy, meaning there is no “treatment” results from an illness just by coloring.  They do agree that for some people it could be therapeutic. For example, some people with cancer may find a warm bath therapeutic and comforting. It does nothing to cure the cancer and still the patient is comforted.

So if you feel like this might be comforting, I found a website where you can make the pages all by yourself and print them. Let me know if you would like the link.
