Abstract Art

(Photos courtesy of my Android)

Pictured above is a postcard I made back in 2003.  I as living in Point Loma, and I was making lots of postcards, bookmarks, and more abstract collage work.  I made this postcard with crayons.  I used red, blue, and green.  When I make art, I usually like putting card stock underneath, so that I don’t spill or make marks on tables.  This in turn, becomes another art piece.

The next piece is a collage I made with one my short poems in my own handwriting.  My poem is called, “Close”.  The poem reads:

Even though we have been together before,

In this plane,

In this life,

I could not get you close.
