A 4th tribute to Bettie Page – 16-09-14
I drew and painted Bettie Page, American pin-up and celebrity of the 1950s, many times but seldom in pastel. Since Bettie was very stimulating for the minds of many men (and women) I drew her in red. She stood for sexual liberation and the ability of being naughty in a puritain society on the very brink of a sexual revolution soon to follow.
