340 years ago, in 1677 February 3 in Prague, in the Italian family, one of the most famous and original baroque architects was born – Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel. 

Mostly, he designed sacred buildings but sometimes created buildings for the noblemen. He created unique exteriors not only for magnificent objects but also for small chapels and churches. In his projects, he brilliantly combined mathematics, geometry, numerology, and the symbolism of Catholics. Santini has designed almost one hundred religious, farm buildings, and palaces in 23 years of work. he was a big master of architecture. 

I searched for most famous buildings of Santini in Chech country, the place where he was born.

  5. I love all these buildings, some remind me of Russian Orthodox churches, which I saw one like in Jerusalem in 1982 a long time ago.
    A lot of these buildings are grand design and old heritage buildings. Each one is very precious.
