Wild Beast on the Trail at Lake Kissimmee

We are walking way out on the savannah in front of the water at Lake Kissimmee in Florida. The long sandy trail is at the junction of the wide flat plain and the woods. Out near the Lake itself I heard a rustling in the leaves and movement. I stayed very still for a few minutes and the sound was louder and came closer until it was very near me and I was able to take a photo of the beast of Lake Kissimmee. Our friend the armor plated Armadillo. They are mostly blind but can hear well.
