Swans are truly beautiful birds. This one was photographed on a lake Čukova jama near Bobovek, Kranj.
It’s a beautiful photo because it was sunny out and the sun rays shone on the bird’s white feathers, illuminating them in the sunlight. There’s only 2 swans on the lakes, the male pictured above.
He’s kind and used to people, so he comes near when people feed them.

Wasn’t it a pity the Queen’s loss of half her swans from avian flu? They are such very graceful birds – regal in mien!

I love swans. They are so majestic. There are breeding swans in Ashland, Oregon, near the Shakespearean Theater there.
