These guests refuse to leave

We had cats as pets when we were living in the city but here we only owned dogs. But we have always entertained cats that visited us. These feral cats visited us early in the morning and left after we fed them.

Now that we have no dogs around –  we lost our beloved Preiti a few months ago – cats seem to not leave but stick on.

The mother cat littered in the guest bedroom and produced a single kitten. Her older son has stayed put and refuses to leave.

No other choice but to adopt them.

  1. My kids would be very happy if the cats visit us. They always look for cats that they can keep at home. They begged me to have dog as well, but at this moment, I really don’t have much time to take care of the dog. I don’t mind if they feed the cat, but keeping a dog at home seems to have bigger responsibility.

    • That was wise. Pets need time and I give that time to them. Our cats for reasons unknown do not like us touching them which I find to be strange.

  2. Several people have said to me that ‘cats choose their owners’.
They look like wonderful little cats and showing kindness to animals is always a worthy act.

    • They are so playful They will climb right up to the window ventilators and then slide down. Wish we had the opportunity to post pictures in our comments.

  3. Adorable cats. That is what happened to me. My friend who lives below me has a cat Oreo who decided to have four kittens in my apartment because I am alone with my cat Sid who comes and goes and so it is quiet and peaceful. The four kittens were meant to be put up for adoption. However, once I saw how they are attached to each other and how the mother looks after them I knew they could not be separated so now I have two cats and four kittens lol

  4. Last year our 23 year oldcat died, and that left me with one left, and two that are my husbands. Now we have a cat that visits us, but he does not stay in. I can’t afford to have him declawed etc. I did pay to get him his shots etc, to be safe around our cats. I just feed him inside and let him stay a while, then I put more food and water for him by our side door.

    • It is good to neuter or spay cats but the after care is what is bothering me. These three are here to stay. I put them outside for the night as the little one is not house broken properly.
