Swallowing Rocks

Crocodiles have a diet of most anything. To keep them fed they will attack and swallow all kinds of animals and fish. However, there are times when crocodiles wind up getting rocks in their belly. It is thought that the rocks which remain in their bellies are used as ballast when crocodiles dive. It helps them get down into the water fast.

The largest crocodile ever discovered was 20.24 feet long. Since they are cold-blooded reptiles they hibernate in the winter. Reproduction for crocodiles is no problem since they can lay 60 eggs at one time.
