I love these little birds. They do not migrate to the South, in warm countries like some other birds. Here in the area where I live the winter is soft and warm. But in my homeland it is cold and snowy. I’ve seen them hide under the roofs of the houses. Stay on the chimneys because the trays are places where they find the heat in the winter.
The sparrows originate in Africa, but they have moved to Europe and Asia and have been inhabited in North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Unlike many other birds, sparrows can not be found in forests or deserts. They prefer life near the populated areas – both urban and rural.
They say the number of these small birds is drastically decreasing. Sparrows are an indicator of the state of the environment in which we live, and their reduction is indicative that it is getting worse.
I want to know if this problem exists where you live.
