I learned that if you want to take a photo of a very small bird just for the fun of it you have to sneak up on it. Back in Riga, Latvia in the suburbs we had great delight in seeing all sorts of birds and small creatures while walking the dirt roads. One day I caught this little fellow deep in thought on the road. I never thought I would be successful in getting the shot but I snuck up on him and I don’t think he ever knew what really happened.

Taking pictures of bird isn’t easy, I have worn cardboard boxes on my head to get them.

The zoom feature in the camera helps me and I have loads of photos and video clips.
