Saturday's Critters – Puppies

Yesterday’s trip was an hours drive south to farmland near Te Kauwhata, where my sister Felicity & John have a 2 acre block with sheep, dogs, and hens.

They have Jack Russel Dogs which are lively and energetic. The original Dogs were Jack & Emma and Emma had 2 lots of puppies. Emma grew a bit older so to give her a break she was spade. Felicity & John  got another puppy that they called, “Rosie!”.

These are Rosie’s puppies, she actually had 7 puppies but 2 were still born but 5 survived. Rosie has done very well, but as a new Mum with puppies growing fast, she gets very tired.

The thumbnail shows all 5 puppies in a basket.

#1 One Puppy

This is a boy puppy, the other ones are girls, the reason I know is that his nose is all black.

#2 Puppy held by John

One puppy that is held for a photo

#3 Jack & Emma

I took this photo a while ago and this is Jack, the White Jack Russel, and Emma is the Darker Jack Russel.

Both are energetic lively dogs.

The puppies never keep still but I am not bothered

Emma is behind me and I am holding a puppy

#7 Emma

All the dogs have personalities. This is Emma, she is a beautiful dog and a very faithful friend, but Jack is a handsome dog and also faithful

#8 Jack

This is Jack, their first Jack Russel and he is a wonderful dog.

All of them have had a lot of care and love, which every dog needs.

Their often is one problem when you visit.

#9 Under Foot

Always watch your feet when you sit at a person's place, because you never know who is sitting underfoot, the adult dogs do that as well.

What do you think?

  1. What do I think?? You made my day, Pam. I love animals and cuddling those puppies is what I would want to do at this moment.

We had to spay Naaki our older one who we lost. She lived for 16 years.
