Lucky Dog Animal Rescue’s mission of mercy

This story is not likely to make it to the nationwide news media since it is a heartwarming story of an act of mercy to assist the victims of Hurricane Maria which severely damaged the island of Puerto Rico in 2017.

Am animal shelter located in the Washington D C area named Lucky Dog Animal Rescue on Saturday January 20, 2018 with the assistance of Southwest Airlines brought over 14,000 pounds of supplies for the animals and citizens of Puerto Rico in an act of kindness that is priceless.

62 dogs and cats that were stranded in Puerto Rico after the effects of Hurricane Maria caused severe damage were taken from Puerto Rico via Southwest Airlines to Washington D. C. that same day.

Nirah Horowitz who is the founder and executive director of the Lucky Dog Shelter is extremely pleased that the mission to assist the people who were affected by Hurricane Maria was a huge success of rescuing cats and dogs that will be placed in the animal shelters in the Washington D C area.

I am sure that the cats and dogs that are in the Lucky Dog Animal Shelter will find loving families that will adopt them as their pets soon.
