I was walking outside to take photos of the hummingbird and noticed one of my cats, Brendel asleep in the screen room chair. She looked so comfy, I had to take her picture. She is not crazy about the camera. But I managed to get a few shots of her. She was my first cat to rescue after losing MommaKitty. It was hard losing her and still is but now I have Brendel and of course the Dude to fill some of the empty places in my heart.
When I took her photo I instantly thought of the Stevie Wonder song… Isn’t She Lovely. The song is about a new baby, since I consider Brendel my baby, it is relevant. Here are some of the words in case you are not familiar:

My cat is not menacing… she is going to sleep in my screen room. She stays indoors, never out.

Cats don’t like to be bothered most of the time. If you are standing there just looking at them, which is what they think I believe, they are like… what? I’m trying to sleep here stop looking at me.
I fail to see how looking at something is equivalent to bothering something
I am the same way. If I am trying to sleep, I don’t want anyone standing and looking at me…

She is cute. I think most animals are not fond of getting their photo taken. But, if one waits you can get great pictures.

Well, good afternoon Brendel. Don’t you look comfortable and comfy lying and lounging around on that chair. Yes you tell your mommy to leave you alone so that you can keep on napping. After all, you deserve it for being such a good kitty cat and companion to the Dude and to your mommy. Hi Carol, just talking to Brendel and eventually again to the Dude. I cannot help myself talking to the animals whether they are in front of me, i person, or on the screen.
