The photo was taken at the River Trail Nature Center in Northbrook, Illinois. The owl had been injured and would not survive being in the wild so it was kept as an exhibit in the nature center.I used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to adjust the lighting and boost the contrast and vibrance.
I love all types of owls, they are all beautiful.
I really like them also. I have a bunch of photos of a Snowy Owl that I originally took on color negative film. Unfortunately I’m having trouble cleaning up the images. As soon as I can get some decent ones, I’ll post them (if I can).

I fear owls. They are associated with evil
Why would they be associated with evil? They keep rodents under control which is a good thing.
