Do you remember Gustav/Svetozar/Ljubiša?
I wrote about him few days ago.
Past few days he was ill, so we decided to check what’s up. Veterinarians gave him injections and we were happy because he will be ok again.
Unfortunately, veterinarians told us today that he has leukemia and that he will die very soon. SHOCK! We had an option to leave him and veterinarians will give him an injection. He will sleep, but will never wake up. Also there was another option: to bring him home and spend few last days with him. Of course, we chose second option.
I never would’ve believed you If a few days ago you told me I’d be here spending last days with you.
How’s ur cat?
He is a little bit better. Thanks for asking!
Thank you for comment, but veterianirs said that he has only few days left. But today he started to eat again, so it’s good 🙂 Hope dies last…
This is so sad. There are vaccines to guard against it and 15% of cats that get kitty leukemia survive. I don’t want to get your hopes up, but it may not be ‘just a few days’. Cats with kitty leukemia can live up to 3 years, even if they aren’t among the lucky 15%.
I accidently answered in new comment. Check it
So cute
Thank you!
Sorry, very sorry for that!
Thanks lucia. Wish you all the best!
Sorry to hear that, Cat’s are such wonderful friends. Treasure the memories, maybe another cat in need of a friend like you will find one.
Thank you Pamela! So much!
The first dog that I put down recenlty, Peter, was my closest friend. I loved him with all my heart. He had bone cancer in his front left leg and could barely use it to walk so I decided to put him down.
Frani is my second dog who has a cancer and she’s 12 years old Australian cattle dog, she’s the one using the Wagon. The reason we had not put her down yet is because of her personality and the signs she showed us. Although it was difficult for her, she’s still beg for attention and show is her affection.
I am still saying it’s great from you to buy a Wagon! You are great owner 🙂 Sorry to hear for Peter 🙁 And I think it was good opinion to put Peter down, it will be easier for him. Hope the best for Frani!
Thanks Luka, I really love my dogs so much and I’ll do anything for them. Your cat is also very lucky to have such a wonderful owner like you. I will be praying for him and for you. I would like to add that i know what you are going through, and my heart goes out to you. may God comfort your heart and bless your little friend. I’m sure he knows how very much you love him. Be sure to tell him it’s okay to go, perhaps he is hanging on for you. Much love to you both.

Omg, I’m so sorry this happened to him. I would be glad to say a prayer for him and will keep him in my prayers. I hope everything works out for the best and that he is feeling better and back to his normal self soon. If he is not dramatically suffering and still seems fairly happy, then I wouldn’t put him down just yet. Try to make him as happy as possible and spend time with him now just in case it may be time
Also try to talk to your family and get their opinion. Your cat obviously been much loved and cherished ♥️♥️♥️
Gina, thank you so so much! Unfortunately, to be honest, I don’t want to see him anymore. I want to remember him like happy kitty which meow and play with me. Mom says he is very very ill, don’t want to eat. If I see him, I will be depressed. Also, my mom is with him, but she is afraid that he will slept soon… Thanks for praying! 🙂
The decision is yours Luka, Some people say putting our pet down is our last gift to them, and the kindest thing we can do for them. I had a German shepherd who lived to 14years-old before. But eventually, I had to let him go because I loved him and didn’t want him to suffer any longer and I know in my heart that it was the best thing i could have done for him.
Yeah, I know! Really sad to hear it. What’s up with your dog? That one for which you bought a Wagon?
It is hard to believe someone doesn’t want to be around their pet when they are dying. Sad situation.
You cannot understand that. He is not the only pet which died in our home. Tbh, someone poisoned our first cat, and I was just sitting with my mom and watching how she dyes. We couldn’t do anything, she died in 5 minutes, it was really strong poison, even for people. We called press and tryed to contact police because we know who is the person poisoned her, but noone wants to do anything 🙁 After all of that, I’m sure it’s better to leave him with my mom. He remembers me from days he was happy. I remember him from days he was happy.
