St. Paul du Vence is a medieval town in France. The city walls were constructed in 1538 by King Frances I Valois. Many of the existing buildings date back to the 16th and 17th centuries.

Editing was done with ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I used the SmartErase tool to remove some dust spots, adjusted the exposure and increased the contrast, adjusted the lighting, sharpened the image and then converted to black and white adding a vignette.

    • Thanks, Carol. I had a hard time with this photo. The color slide had really deteriorated. There wasn’t much detail to work with. If I didn’t like the photo so much I would have junked it.
