I will present you the birds that do not fly to southern warm places, but spend the winter in their natural habitat. It’s only right for people to help out these fellas. I feed them every winter, they love to eat sunflower seeds. There’s always many of them flying around my garden and they wake me up every morning with beautiful songs.
Some birds spend their days in the forest, some in the moor, on lakes, rivers… I have to say these birds are very very beautiful. The most beautiful scene is the birds flying freely above the landscape.
Great spotted woodpecker
Known to knock on wood. You can't see him but you can hear his signature pecking.
He sports a bright red line at the back of his head.
I see him every day at our bird feeder.
Swan
Known to everyone. Loves to reside at lakes and can be found by some calm rivers.
